About me
Amaia Helguera > About me
My name is Amaia,
Systemic Facilitator, Co-active Coach,
Integrative Therapist, and Instructor Trainer
of Mindfulness MBSR®.
I am also a mother, a traveler and an explorer of the human experience, passionate about the development of the person in all its dimensions.
My journey began fifteen years ago, after a retreat with Dhiravamsa, which I attended without ever having meditated before. That experience opened up an inner space, revealing essential questions: Who am I really? What am I choosing? How do I honor my talents and sensitivity? That was the beginning of a profound search.
I previously worked as a lawyer, publicist, and entrepreneur, but none of those stages awakened a true connection with myself. It was my encounter with coaching, mindfulness, and yoga that allowed me to recognize my patterns, soften my inner judgment, and orient myself toward a more conscious life aligned with my values.
Since then, I have dedicated my life to exploring contemplative traditions, therapeutic approaches, and models of personal and collective transformation.
Co-Active Coaching, Mindfulness, and Kundalini Yoga helped me cultivate presence, vitality, and self-compassion.
Systemic Facilitation and Theory U offered me maps and structures to accompany teams and organizations in processes of change.
The IFS model, Craniosacral Biodynamics, and the Non-Dualistic vision—inspired by Ramana Maharshi and Gangaji—allowed me to integrate body, mind, and spirit into a unified and profound perspective.
Today, that entire journey is expressed in three ways of supporting others that summarize my understanding of human growth:
· Individual sessions , where I integrate different therapeutic and coaching approaches to accompany you in a process of personal transformation.
· Organizations , where I apply a systemic perspective and conscious leadership to create more collaborative and humane cultures.
· Mindfulness , as a transversal foundation that cultivates presence, clarity and connection with what is essential.
I deeply believe that true change—personal or collective—arises when we dare to enter into stillness, listen to ourselves sincerely, and recognize what is true within us in order to act consciously and harmoniously.

Part of my essence in the sessions has to do with 3 Ideas/Values:
WIND
It's freedom, joy, movement, change, expressing your essence without barriers and with courage. Experiencing life from new perspectives, dancing, singing, laughing. It's my expressive and restless side that will invite you to step out of your comfort zone...that will challenge you to go after what matters to you.
CHOCOLATE CUP
These are the Kairos moments, filled with deep conversations and savoring the journey. It's cooking without a recipe, following intuition and the senses. It's the part of you that listens from the heart.
CONCH
It is the silence, the one who looks out the window on a rainy day, the love of poetry, the slow reading and the discovery of the meaning of life.
